About the Group
In 2003, three college students attending Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, Kentucky met and created the Western Kentucky Ghostbusters, supporting charities and making appearances in and around the south-central Kentucky area. Doctors Ryan e. Kemp, Jonathan Peacock, and Christopher Flanigan began serving mostly the WKU campus, including investigations of such campus haunts as Van Meter Auditorium and Schnieder Hall. From 2008-09 we welcomed Chip Gillock and Brian Prewitt to the team, and in 2011 our ranks swelled with the addition of Bradley Gooch, John C. Gritton, and Katrina Bidwell. In October 2011 Ghostbusters International (GBI) recognized the WKGBs as an official Ghostbusters franchise. In 2012 the team added Ben Mosely, and Tyler and Donna Philips to the official roster, and added Jacqueline Walker, Chris Cohron, and Lauren Mosely as "reserve" team members. In 2014 Cohron and Lauren became full members, and Greg and Mary Frederick, Erik DeGiorgio, and Scott Cox were welcomed aboard. This made the team the largest in the state with 18 active members. The Western Kentucky Ghostbusters are stronger and crazier than ever. As the company continues to grow and foster working relationships with other GB franchises such as Ohio, Chicago, Lousiana, Central Oklahoma, Georgia, Alabama, Palm Coast, and Sun Coast Ghostbusters the WKGB look to the future with wonder and anticipation for great things to come!
